Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible to impart vibrato and effects, such as distortions, to musical tones as after-control by providing the device with a stopper consisting of a pressure sensitive element for imparting effects to the musical tones in addition to a pedal for controlling the musical tones. CONSTITUTION: A first controller built in a supporting base 2 is actuated by the rocking of the pedal 1, by which the sound volume of the musical tones is mainly controlled. The front surface of the supporting base 2 below the pedal 1 is provided with the stopper 5 for limiting the downward rocking of the pedal 1. The stopper 5 is composed of the pressure sensitive element which is connected to a second controller for controlling the effects of the musical tones. When pressing force is added on a buffer material 8 by the pedal 1, the resistance value of a pressure conductor 7 changes and the resistance between a plurality of electrodes disposed on an insulating substrate 6 changes. As a result, the vibrato and the effects, such as distortions, are imparted to the musical tones.
