Abstract

PURPOSE: To use a rapidly set output to perform high-frequency heating by employing an output setting means, in which an output of a magnetron is made large unconditionally, for a prescribed time after the start of the heating.
CONSTITUTION: At the start of heating, a maximum intensity output signal is inputted to a comparison circuit 13 by an output set means 16 irrespective of the set value of a control knob 17. Accordingly, an on-and-off pulse signal with a width of on time in accordance with the maximum intensity output is outputted from a pulse generation circuit 14. When counting of a prescribed time is completed at a time counting circuit 15, an output signal is outputted according to the set value of the control knob 17 by the output setting means 16. The heating operation is thus performed with the maximum output for the prescribed time at the start of heating, irrespective of the set output, and a filament temperature is raised so fast that a magnetron can be rapidly on a stable operation state.
