Abstract
PURPOSE: To carry out a paper coloring matching in a short time by subjecting a pulp slurry for coloring matching and a pulp slurry containing a coloring dye or pigment collected from a melt flow between a preparing mixer and a stock inlet, each made into a bulk aggregated material having a specific concentration, to colorimetry. CONSTITUTION: A pulp slurry for coloring matching obtained by preferably adding an antiseptic to a coloring dye or pigment collected from a main flow between a preparing mixer and a stock inlet is made into a aggregated material having 10-30% solid content concentration, closed and stored in a cold dark place at <=30 deg.C. Besides, a pulp slurry containing a coloring dye and pigment collected from a main flow between the preparing mixer and the stock inlet is made into an aggregated material having 10-30% solid content concentration. Both the aggregated material are subjected to colorimetry. Since a time required for obtaining a desired hue is shortened, the occurrence of damaged paper is reduced.
