Abstract

PURPOSE:To enhance visible light transmissivity and visibility, by providing a transparent inorg. membrane layer having visible light refractivity lower than that of a lens base material made of plastic to one surface of the lens base material. CONSTITUTION:A transparent inorg. membrane layer 41 having visible light refractivity lower than that of a lens base material 40 made of plastic is formed to one surface of the lens base material 40 to form a composite 400 which is, in turn, used as a film lens for goggles. As the base material 40, plastic, polyester, polyvinyl chloride, a polyacrylic resin, polyethylene, polypropylene, polyamide, polystyrene, polycarbonate, polyphenylene sulfide or the like are designated. As the material of the inorg. membrane layer 41, MgF2, SiO2, CaF2, Na3AlF6 and ThF4 are designated.
