Abstract
PURPOSE:To decrease the number of jobs waiting for resources and to avoid the deterioration of the throughput by starting jobs in consideration of the number of system unused resources and the system maximum multiplexing degree at every system resources classification. CONSTITUTION:A job starting part 40 compares a system resources table 50 with the queue resources information 31 on a resources-based schedule queue 30 and starts jobs when the system unused resources number 52 of the system resources type 51 corresponding to every queue resources type 32 satisfies the queue required resources number 33 and at the same time the started job member names 35 are available. Otherwise the next queue 30 is selected. Then the job starting process is through with the final queue 30 or when the number of executed jobs 70 reaches the system maximum multiplexing degree 60. Thus it is possible to prevent the deterioration of the throughput due to the presence of a resources waiting job.
