Abstract
PURPOSE:To plan the improvement of boiling heat transfer coefficient by providing a multilayered mesh body to cover a heating surface in contact with working fluid and lessening the mash of an outermost mesh less than that of an inside layer. CONSTITUTION:A heater is inserted in a heating surface 5, bubbles are produced from the circumference thereof and it is in a boiling heat transfer condition when the heating surface 5 is heated. Produced stream is liquefied in a condenser 12 and returned in working fluid 4. Pieces of wire gauze 6, 7, 8 are wound on the circumference of the heating surface 5 and fixed at intervals of a wire 9. Further for example, two layers 6, 7 are a 20-mesh screen, the outermost layers are a 80-mesh screen, two layers 6, 7 cover almost the whole heating surface 5, and both ends of the wire gauze 8 are wound at intervals 15 of G thereby. Therefore, the gauze 8 delays breakaways of bubbles produced from the heating surface 5, induces minute bubbles by moving the bubbles along the heating surface 5 and the boiling heat transfer coefficient is heightened. At this time the pieces of the gauze 6, 7 maintain an interval capable of existence of the bubbles 13 between the heating surface 5 and the gauze 8 and bubble cores are trapped.
