Abstract

PURPOSE:To simply and reliably fit a tire antiskid device to a tire by connecting an inside member having a low elastic modulus through an outside member having a high elastic modulus to the tire antiskid device, and shortening a circumferential length of the inside member by tightening means. CONSTITUTION:The fitting tool includes an annular inside member 10 having a low elastic modulus formed of a fiber belt or the like. The inside member 10 is engaged at its one end with a pin 15 supported to a housing plate 14 of a winding device 12 as tightening means. A plurality of connecting members 31 are connected at one end portions to the inside member 10 along the circumference thereof, and a plurality of outside members 32 are connected to the other end portions of the connecting members 31. Each outside member 32 is formed of a rod-like rubber material or the like having a high elastic modulus, and is formed at its opposite ends with a pair of mounting eyes 34. After each outside mounting eye 34 is connected to a tire antiskid device, the winding device 12 is tightened to reduce a circumferential length of the inside member 10, thereby fitting the tire antiskid device to a tire.
