Abstract

PURPOSE:To enhance the controllability of printing density and gradation and to secure the safety of work, by providing a controller for sending a control signal to a damping water feeder and an ink supply device to allow each detected value to coincide with each objective value over the total width of a printing press. CONSTITUTION:The water content ratio detection signal W and ink film thickness detection signal I of a shaking roller 6 are sent to a controller 19 through an amplifier 18 and compared with the water content ratio objective value and ink film thickness objective value inputted to the controller 19 from a setting device 20 to perform operation. The water fountain roller rotary control signal Kw obtained as a result is also sent to a water fountain roller drive motor 25 to control the number of rotations of a water fountain roller 13, and the water content ratio detection signal W and ink film thickness detection signal I of a water content ratio and ink film thickness sensor 16 are allowed to coincide with a water content ratio objective value and an ink film thickness objective value over the total width of a printing press.
