Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the unfair use of a magnetic card by having by providing a bar code shape fixed pattern having almost equal coercive force at room temperature, and composing of the plural types of magnetic substances to have respectively different coercive forces at the temperature to separate the room temperature. CONSTITUTION:For example, a fixed pattern 3 is unidirectional saturation- magnetized in a direct current saturation magnetic field (>=1,000Oe) nearby at the room temperature (20 deg.C). In such a condition, when the pattern is read by a magnetic head for reading, the signal of all '1' is detected. Next, in a condition the fixed pattern part 3 is heated at 60 deg.C, the erasing magnetic field of 300Oe is impressed in the reverse direction of a saturation-magnetized direction and the magnetization of the fixed pattern of a B magnetic substance part is erased. When the reading of the part of the fixed pattern 3 is executed by the reading magnetic head, a peculiar signal is generated. Thus, a forgerforms the same fixed pattern to the magnetic card with using one type of the magnetic substance, a forgery can be immediately discriminated since the output of a peculiar code is not generated.
