Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the protective capacity of a recording film layer by providing a dielectric layer or metallic film layer which does not contain oxygen in the part in direct contact with an adhesive resin. CONSTITUTION:PC which is plastic is used for a substrate 1 and AlSiN is continuously formed on the dielectric layer 2, NdDyFeCo on the magneto-optical recording layer 3, and AlSiN on the dielectric layer 4. On the other hand, PC is used for the substrate 5 on a protective plate side and AlSiN is provided on the dielectric layer 6 as an example in the part in contact with the adhesive resin. The substrates are stuck to each other by using dipentaerythritol as an adhesive agent 7. Since the oxygen is not contained in the part in direct contact with the adhesive agent in such a manner, the polymn. inisitiation is not impaired and, therefore, the recording layer is prevented from being attacked by the uncured component. The protective ability of the magneto-optical recording film layer is thereby improved.
