Abstract

PURPOSE:To vary the perspective of an image when it is stereoscopically viewed by varying the horizontal angle of an optical system which enlarges and synthesizes a screen and varying diploid angles of a right image and a left image. CONSTITUTION:Light coming out of a light source 1 passes through a diffusing plate 1a, a film original image 2 and input side 3 and 3', reflecting plates 5 and 5', output side lens systems 4 and 4' and polarization filters 6 and 6' of a left side and a right side heads. The light is enlarged and synthesized on the screen 7 as light wave whose polarization angle is different by 90 deg. and stereoscopically viewed by a pair of polarizing spectacles. The horizontal angles of the lens systems 4 and 4' are varied through the reversible motor 10 or a diploid angle variably part 9, gears 11 and 11' and belts 12 and 12'so as to vary the diploid angles of the right and left images, thereby varying the perspective of the stereoscopically viewed image.
