Abstract
PURPOSE:To rapidly track and specify the transmitting position of an emergency signal, by applying a theory of triangulation in an emergency quarding system. CONSTITUTION:Points A, B are set to constant points and the half line passing the point A is set to La while the half line passing the point B is set to Lb and the angles formed by these half lines and a segment AB are set to alpha, betaand the intersecting point of the half lines La, Lb is set to C. Herein, when the angles alpha, beta formed by the segment AB and both ends thereof are determined, only one triangle ABC is determined and the position of the intersecting point C is specified. Therefore, when the receiving stations in a tracking sub-system are installed at the points A, B and the non-directional antennas of the receiving stations are rotated and it is detected that directions maximizing the intensity of an electric field are those of the half lines La, Lb, the transmitting source of an emergency signal is restricted only to one point.
