Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate the image processing by providing an optical scanning and exposing means which execute a scan at an arbitrary speed, an erasing means for exposing uniformly a photosensitive body and erasing an electrostatic latent image, a recording medium carrying means, and a control means for bringing the optical scanning and exposing means and the erasing means to energizing control. CONSTITUTION:An original picture which has been set onto a platen is scanned by an optical scanning and exposing means 2, reflected image from a document is formed on a photosensitive body 3, converted to a developed image, and also, an eraser lamp 6 is turned on and off by a control means 7, and an image area and an erasing area are formed. On the other hand, transfer paper 9 in a transfer paper containing part 8a is fed, passes through a carrying path 14 and reached a resist roller 15. As for this resist roller 15, its operation timing is controlled by the control means 7 so that the image on the photosensitive body 3 is transferred to a prescribed position. In such a way, the image processing can be executed easily.
