Abstract

PURPOSE:To surely prevent the splashing of electrolyte mists by releasing a gas through filters provided to flasks, etc., of plates and capturing and removing the fine particles of the electrolyte simultaneously with said filters. CONSTITUTION:The flasks 10 are formed of an insulating material such as hard synthetic resin and are formed to a rectangular shape enclosing the side edges of the plates 11, 12. Side pieces 13a, 13b are respectively projected to both side ends of the flasks 10 and the anode and cathode plates 11, 12 are alternately arranged and integrally integrated via the flasks 10 in such a manner that the adjacent flasks 10 are engaged with each other via the side pieces 13a, 13b. Plural slits 15 are bored at every specified interval to the flask 10a and the filters 16 opened upward are packed to the upper side of the slits 15. The bubbles of gaseous O2, etc., generated at the time of electrolysis in the above-mentioned constitution are released through the filters 16 to the outside and the fine particles of the electrolyte entrained in said gas are captured by the filters 16, by which the generation of the mists from the electrolyte is prevented.
