Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide the titled copper alloy material with excellent heat and electric conductivity as well as high corrosion resistance by coating the surface of a copper (alloy) strip with sacrificial anodic metals and subjecting it to a heat homogenizing treatment in which the relationship between temp. and time is specified. CONSTITUTION:The surface of the copper (alloy) strip is covered with the sacrificial anodic metal such as Zn or the alloys thereamong. At the time of regulating the homogenizing heat temp. T to >=150 deg.C and the heating temp. to t sec, the surface is then subjected to a heat homogenizing treatment in such a manner that the conditions of the formula 1 are satisfied in the case of <=40 t and the conditions of the formula II are satisfied in the case of 40<=t<=10<4>; or if required, said heat homoge nizing and rolling are repeatedly executed for one or more times. By this method, the sacrificial anodic metals covered on the surface of the strip and Cu in the strip material can be homogenized each other effectively and sufficiently. The corrosion resistance, solderability and workability of the titled alloy material are furthermore improved without excessively lowering the electric conductivity of the strip material.
