View cameras, etc., have a lens section on one side and a film back section on the other attached to the support shaft of a sturdy cylindrical or rectangular monorail, which are connected by a bellows to form the camera body. Due to its structure and weight, it was not suitable for the general public, and it was not a model that could be easily taken outdoors for photographing purposes. However, the most important feature of these viewing cameras is that the lens and film back of the camera can move up and down, left and right, tilt back and forth, and swing left and right. This feature, in turn, has enabled the demand for professional large-sized cameras for commercial photographers, studio business photographers, and the like.
Therefore, photo-shading is mainly done in studios or other locations where sufficient time can be spent to prepare for the shoot, and most large cameras are not designed for quick shooting or portability, and are attached to large, sturdy tripods. I am starting to take pictures. Conventionally, in order to attach a viewing camera or the like to this tripod, various supporting stands for viewing cameras, etc. have been devised, and a supporting stand such as the one shown in FIG. 1 is commercially available. That is, the viewing camera main body 1 has a lens section 2 on the right side, a film back section 3 on the left side, the lens section 2 and the film back section 3 are connected by a telescopic bellows 4, and the other The structure of the support stand 5 on which the main body 1 is attached includes a lens unit mounted on the right end of a monorail (hereinafter referred to as the support shaft 6) on which a rack (not shown) is carved, via a rotating stand 7b. The sliding pipe 7 provided with a plate 7c has a rotary table 8 on the left end.
A sliding pipe 8 provided with a film back part mounting plate 8c installed through b is inserted into each of the sliding pipes 8,
Further, the central portion of the support shaft 6 is supported by a rail clamp 9 consisting of a tripod base 9a and a cylindrical fastener 9b that supports the support shaft 6 so that it can be attached to the pan head 10 of a tripod. . In addition, 7a, 8
a is a fine adjustment knob installed on the sliding pipes 7 and 8;
9c is a tightening screw of the fastener 9b, and 1
Reference numerals 1 and 11 designate end caps fitted onto both ends of the support shaft 6 so that the sliding tubes 7 and 8 do not fall off from both ends of the support shaft.

However, one thing that is often overlooked when using this type of camera is the flange focal length as lens data, that is, the distance from the mount surface of the lens that is in contact with the camera to the image image for an object at infinity, that is, the focal plane. be. There is no problem when a standard lens is attached, but especially when using an ultra-wide-angle lens of 90° or more, the flange focal length becomes extremely short, so even if the lens section 2 is lowered all the way to the rear, the sliding tube 7
However, the distance between the lens section 2 and the film back section 3 cannot be further reduced due to interference by the fastener 9b of the rail clamp 9, resulting in the inconvenience that the above feature cannot be fully utilized. Also, the fact that the sliding tubes 7 and 8 at the left and right ends are obstructed by the rail clamp 9 at the center of the support shaft and cannot freely slide means that the support shaft 6 with the camera body 1 still attached can be removed from the rail clamp 9. This also resulted in the drawback that it took a lot of time and effort to install the support base 5 on the pan head 10 because the support base 5 could not be removed.

Therefore, as a result of various studies in view of the above-mentioned circumstances, the invention of the present application was developed so that the two sliding tables that slidably move on the support shaft do not come into contact with the rail clamp that supports the support shaft in the center. To provide a support stand for a view camera, etc., which can be detachably attached to a rail clamp while the camera is placed on a support shaft.

To explain the function of the supporting stand for a viewing camera or the like according to the present invention, first, the lens section is placed on the lens section mounting plate 16d, and the film back section is placed on the film back section mounting plate 17d. , whereby the sliding table 1 is moved through the rotating shafts 16c and 17c.
6 and 17 constitute the lens section and the lower part of the film back section, respectively. Next, loosen the tightening screws 16b, 17b provided on the slide tables 16, 17, and insert the tightening screws 16b, 17b from one end of the support shaft 13, from which one of the end caps 13c, 13c has been removed.
7b is positioned so that it fits into the upper guide groove 13a, and further positioned so that the bent portions of the flanges 16a and 17a of the slide tables 16 and 17 are respectively locked in the upper step 13d of the lower guide groove 13b. After that, fit the slide tables 16 and 17 into place on the support shaft 13 and tighten the screws 16b and 17b.
The removed end cap 13c is then fitted onto the end of the support shaft 13. At this time, the end caps 13c, 13c are connected to the upper guide groove 13a.
The tightening screw 16b, which is provided to fit into the upper guide groove 13a,
The sliding bases 16 and 17 having 17b do not come off from the support shaft 13. Here, bracket 15
In order to slightly expand the width of the rails 15b and 15b, the rail clamp 15, whose tightening screw 15c has been loosened in advance, is attached to the pan head 14 of the tripod. Then, the concave portions inside the upper portions of the brackets 15b, 15b are fitted into the convex portions formed by the lower side of the support shaft 13 to which the viewing camera or the like is attached and the lower guide groove 13b, and the support shaft 13 is placed in the center. Bracket 15
b, 15b until it is in place, and then tighten the tightening screw 15.
Tighten the support shaft 13 at c. Incidentally, after photographing is completed, the slide table, spindle, rail clamp, etc. can be quickly and easily returned to the storage case by reversing the above procedure, and there is no need to always assemble them as a support table.

The present invention with the above configuration allows the lens section and the film back section to be brought close to each other when necessary, allowing the user to concentrate on photography without having to worry about the rail clamp that supports the center of the support shaft, and also allows the use of several different viewing cameras. If it is placed on each support shaft of the present invention in advance, it is not necessary to prepare the same number of rail clamps, and it is sufficient to attach one rail clamp to the pan head, and the camera can be mounted on the support shaft. The practical effects are significant, such as the ability to attach the shaft to the rail clamp in a freely removable manner.
