Abstract

PURPOSE:To aim at enhancing the pliability and the strength of the splice of a conveyer belt by meshing joint ends of a belt which have been cut zigzag, with each other, by bonding a reinforcing fabric on a core canvas base, and by bonding reinforcing fabric on a resin layer with the use of a melting type bonding sheet. CONSTITUTION:Both ends 2, 2 of a belt 1 is cut zigzag, and are meshed together. In the splice section, a reinforcing fabric 5 is bonded to a core canvas base 3 with the use of an adhesive 4. Meanwhile, a reinforcing fabric 5 is bonded to a resin layer 6 with the use of a melting type bonding sheet 7. With this arrangement, it is possible to enhance the pliability and strength of the splice of the belt.
