Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable superposition of two kinds of veneers with regular size and fine adjustment of deviated superposition due to minute change in dimension by finely adjusting transfer speed of conveyer at the side of longer and medium process length and that at the side of shorter process length while staying on the fixed system. CONSTITUTION: The path of veneer with regular size is switched by moving attached tipple conveyers 11a and 11b at each time of alternating work so that the first veneer cut relatively short is let pass through the lower conveyer 10b while the second cut relatively long through the upper conveyer 10c. Straight type conveyer 9 and overhead type double-layer conveyer 10 have the same starting and terminating edges and infinitely variable transmission 15 has been inserted on their driving shafts, enabling to give difference in transfer speeds between the straight type conveyer 9 and overhead type double-layer conveyer 10, so that fine adjustment can be conducted for deviation of regular-sized veneers when they are superposed.
