Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable simultaneous uniform regulation of sag of conductors in short time, by coupling a hydraulic actuator to an intermediate portion of a coupling metal. CONSTITUTION:When delivery pressure is led in from a pump through a distributor (not shown), all hydraulic cylinders 22 contract simultaneously to pull a conductor. Since links 23, 24 incline coupling metals 11, 14 and position the hydraulic cylinder 22 on the axis of the conductor, length regulating links 12, 13 are loosened. Under this state, delivery pressure from the pump is equal to the setting pressure of a relief valve, and all conductors are stretched with a predetermined tensile force. Then the length regulating links 12, 13 are uncoupled, and through-holes 27, 28 are selected in order to couple the links 12, 13 linearly. Thereafter, hydraulic force is lowered gradually, and when tensile force of conductor prevails over the pulling force of the hydraulic cylinder 22, the coupling metals 11, 14 and the regulating links 12, 13 are returned to normal position on the axis of the conductor and thereby the hydraulic cylinder 22 is shifted from the axis thus stretching all conductors with same sag.
