Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide an excellent noise suppressing effect by winding or laminating thin amorphous magnetic alloy stripes, and forming an element of a toroidal shape formed at its center with an air core in which a special relationship is provided between the mean diameter of the element and a line or the longest length in the section of a lead section. CONSTITUTION:Amorphous magnetic alloy for forming a thin stripe contains Co as a base and is represented by a formula (Co1-c-dFecM''d)100-f(Si1-eBe)f. Its mean diameter D0 is the arithmetic mean of the outer and inner diameters of the obtained core when the thin stripe is wound in a toroidal shape, the longest length L in the section of the line or the lead section is the diameter of its circle when the section of the lead section is circular, and so designed as to be come L<D0$5L.
