Abstract
PURPOSE:To contrive at enhancing the seal effect by forming a mirror plate in a scroll blade on which a scroll lap is planted upright, form a low rigid material which is deformed due to heightwise thermal expansion, so as to improve the contact between scroll lap and the mirror surface. CONSTITUTION:In a rotary scroll blade 6, a spiral scroll 6b is planted upright on a mirror plate 6a. A stationary scroll 9 in which a spiral scroll lap 9b is similarly planted upright on a mirror plate 9a is fixed to a scroll holder 8 facing the rotary scroll blade 6. In this arrangement, the mirror plate 9a of the stationary scroll 9 is formed of a low rigid material which is deformed by pressure due to thermal expansion in the heightwise direction of the scroll laps 6, 9. With this arrangement, heightwise elongation of the scroll laps 6, 9 due to thermal expansion is absorbed by the low rigid mirror plate 9a, thereby it is possible to make the scroll laps 6, 9 into uniform presscontact with the mirror plates 6a, 9a, respectively.
