Abstract

PURPOSE:To contrive amphibian transportation by laying a track having underwater buoyancy between bases so as to be bridged, so that a watertight amphibian track-vehicle can be traveled on the said track. CONSTITUTION:A land track 16 (not shown) and an undersea track 17 (not shown) are constituted by connecting a number of narrow and long precast blocks enough to fulfill the traveling guide function of an amphibian track- vehicle 4 (not shown). The land track 16 is made to be of an approximately rectangular section, and is supported by a pillar 12. The undersea track 17 has inwardly sloped surfaces at both the right and left sides so as to be hollowed in the inside, so that buoyancy in water can be provided, and it is stretched and supported underwater by a cable 11 and partially by the pillar 12. The track-vehicle 4 is so placed that it will bestride the track, and moving plates are provided on both side surfaces of the tracks 16, 17, and in the water the track-vehicle is so moved that it will embrace the inwardly sloped surfaces of the track 17. Thus, the separation of each vehicle 4 from the track 17 due to buoyancy can be prevented, enabling a smooth traveling regardless of aboveground or underwater traveling.
