PURPOSE:To efficiently manufacture good quality braided hose by a method wherein reinforcing layer is wound round an inner tube rubber and, after that, adhesive is applied on the layer by passing the braided hose through an adhesive coating tank and excess adhesive is removed and at the same time an outer tube rubber is continuously covered on the outer peripheral surface of the reinforcing layer. CONSTITUTION:A braided hose W, round the inner tube rubber of which reinforcing layer K is wound, is passed through the interior of an adhesive coating tank 2 so as to be immersed in adhesive Q for being coated with the adhesive. Next, the braided hose is introduced in a recovery device 8 of the adhesive Q so as to remove excess adhesive before the solvent in the adhesive Q volatilizes, and at the same time to uniformly impregnate the reinforcing layer K with the adhesive Q. After that, the outer peripheral surface of the reinforcing layer K of the braided hose W is covered by an outer tube rubber Wa, which is continuously extruded from a pin part 11. Thus, the braided hose, the adherence between respective layers of which is good, can be manufactured efficiently with a compact device.
