Abstract
PURPOSE:To easily make a large number of small holes by a method wherein a sheet, which is produced by laminating two kinds of, thermoplastic resin films different in melting temperature from each other, is heated up to the predetermined temperature and, after that, compression-molded at the temperature lower than the melting temperature of a resin, the temperature of which is higher than that of the other resin. CONSTITUTION:A laminated sheet is produced by respectively laminating thermoplastic resin films, the difference between the melting temperatures of which is 10 deg.C or higher, on both sides of a mat-like material, which is mainly made of inorganic fiber. The laminated sheet is heated up to the temperature, which is higher than the melting temperature of a resin with lower melting temperature and lower than that of a resin with higher melting temperature. After that, the laminated sheet is compression-molded at the temperature, which is lower than the melting temperature of the thermoplastic resin with higher melting temperature, resulting in making a large number of small holes on the thermoplastic resin film with lower melting temperature and obtaining a composite molded body. The obtained composite body is light in weight and excellent in heat resistance, mechanical strength and sound absorbing qualities.
