When the writing and reading command is outputted from the host computer, the driving selecting signal is turned on, energizing is executed to first and second motors, which are turned off, and the IC for writing and reading, and the writing and reading action can be started. Thus, the consumption of the battery can be suppressed to the necessary minimum.
