Abstract

PURPOSE:To display two pictures having a time difference of an object to easily compare and observe them by synchronizing the operation of the object in the picture to be referred with that in the reference picture. CONSTITUTION:A second display system 5 consisting of a display interface 5a and a monitor 5b including a D/A converter displays the frame picture from an picture memory 3. An object P is provided with a detector 6 of an electrocardiograph or the like, and the output of this detector 6 is taken into a phase detector 7 to take out the heart synchronizing signal of the object P. A memory controller 8 is provided with an address generator and a frame rate controller and receives the output of the heart synchronizing signal from the phase detector 7 to control the speed of frame read from the picture memory 3 in a desired rate. That is, the operation of the object in the picture to be referred is synchronized with that in the reference picture in accordance with the actual motion of the object. Thus, two pictures difference in time of the object are displayed and are easily compared and observed.
