Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the titled composition outstanding in impact resistance, rigidity and tensile strength etc., good in appearance of the molded products therefrom, suitable for e.g. housings for electronic parts etc., by blending each specific two kinds of styrene resin and filler. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition can be obtained by blending (A) 30-90(pref. 40-90)wt.% of an impact-resistant resin with a melt flow index of 0.1-50g/10min, prepared by graft copolymerization of styrene to styrene- butadiene copolymer rubber. (B) 1-30(pref. 5-30)wt.% of a copolymer from styrene and methyl methacrylate with the proportion of the styrene copolymerized ranging from 50-90(pref. 60-90)wt.% and (C) 5-50(pref. 10-50)wt.% of filler (e.g. talc, mica, woodmeal).
