Abstract

CONSTITUTION:The objective tire with the tread and/or sidewall made up of a rubber composition comprising (A) 10-100wt.% of a butadiene rubber containing >=70% of cis 1,4-linkage with a weight-average molecular weight of 300,000-1,200,000 and molecular weight distribution index of 3-15 prepared by reaction of a compound having bond of formula II (Y is N or O; X is halogen) (pref. benzoyl chloride) with a polymer derived from polymerization of 1,3-butadiene in an inert organic solvent in the presence of a catalyst containing a lanthanide series rare earth element compound and organoaluminum compound of formula I (R1-R3 are each H or 1-8C hydrocarbon, but all of them not being H) and furthermore, if needed, Lewis acid and/or Lewis base and (B) 90-0wt.% of a diene rubber such as natural rubber or isoprene rubber.
