Abstract

PURPOSE: To minimize the difference of the power loss of respective motors and to compact the external shape dimension of a cleaner main body by providing an air flow switching member for selectively closing one of open holes corresponding to the movement of a lever operatable from the outside of a main body case. CONSTITUTION: The lever 36 is brought down to an RC side, the opening 33 of a first fan casing is closed by the air flow switching member 35 and the opening part 34 of a second fan casing 26 is opened. When a switch knob 17 is slid to an ON side in the state, a second motor 30 is rotated at a low speed by batteries 39 and 40, dust and air are sucked altogether from a nozzle 8 and the dust is stored inside a filter 9. The air which comes out from the filter 9 is passed through a dust collecting chamber 2 and a power source driving part chamber 3 and discharged from discharge holes 12 and 21. Also, when the lever 36 is brought down to an AC side, the opening part 33 of the first fan casing 25 is opened and the switch knob 16 is slid to the ON side, an AC first motor 29 is rotated at a high speed and the dust is taken in from the nozzle 8 along with suction air.
