Abstract

PURPOSE:To measure an accurate position by using a modulated radio wave signal to identify a station and to detect synchronization thereby measuring a phase difference between narrow band carriers whose each frequency is stable. CONSTITUTION:Radio waves modulated in the order of 11M, 11S1, 11S2 are sent as sinusoidal tone signals for identifying a carrier from a master station M to a stationary transmission station sending the carrier to a mobile station 5. In receiving the transmission radio wave by a receiver mounted on the mobile station 5, a carrier spectrum component 10M of the master station M is received at first from the circuit extracting only a carrier by using each tone signal after reception and detection and the frequency 10MM subject to phase synchronization is generated to the carrier spectrum component 10M. Then the accurate location is obtained by a line group of a hyperbolic wave between the master station M and slave stations S1, S2 by measuring the phase difference of the carrier 10S1 of the slave station S1 and the carrier 10S2 of the slave station S2 received succeedingly with respect to the frequency 10MM. Thus, the accurate position is measured by using a radio communication wave freely.
