Abstract
PURPOSE:To facilitate the insertion of a specimen and to simplify the cleaning of a light transmitting window by providing a specimen stand to mount the specimen and a moving cover freely capable of contacting and releasing from the specimen stand and energizing in the direction away from the specimen stand surface. CONSTITUTION:After the specimen is inserted between a moving cover 2 energized and opened by an energizing means 4 and the specimen stand 1, the moving cover 2 is depressed toward the specimen 1 against an energizing force. The moving cover 2 approaches and stops on the specimen stand 1 up to a constant interval regulated by a regulating member 5, the specimen, in this condition, sandwiched and fixed between the moving cover 2 and the specimen stand 1, light sources 9 and 10 and a photodetecting means 11 provided at the opposite surface of the specimen 1 and the moving cover 2 are always separated at a constant distance. Next, when a push-button switch 6 provided at the depressing part of the moving cover 2 is pushed, light is emitted from the light sources 9 and 10, transmits the specimen and the light quantity of light transmitting light is detected by the photodetecting means 11.
