Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the color fastness with a good touch feeling, shorten the treating time and reduce the cost by a low-temperature treatment by carrying out a low-temperature dipping treatment of a dyed material of polyamide fibers with a specific fixing agent and a specified softener in one bath and two stages and then heat-treating the dyed material. CONSTITUTION: A dyed material of polyamide fibers is subjected to a dipping treatment with a treating bath containing a co-oligomer of a sulfonated material of a synthetic tannin represented by formula I [(n) is 6-8] and a copper chloride of methacrylic acid represented by formula II at <=50 deg.C and the resultant material is then subjected to a dipping treatment in a treating bath obtained by adding a softener prepared by compounding a mixture of a blocked type aminosilicone represented by formula III [X is C2 H4 NH-CH2 OH or the like; R is CH3 or the like; and (m):(n) is 100: (0.5-1.0)] with a polyamine-based softener with a stabilizer to the dye bath at <=500 deg.C, then dehydrated and heat-treated at >=100 deg.C. The color fastness to washing can be enhanced without deteriorating the touch feeling and the treating time can be shortened to perform the low- temperature treatment and reduce the cost by the one-bath and two-stage method.
