Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain excellent corrosion resistance and wear resistance as well as high SN ratio and residual magnetic flux density by providing a specific thin film magnetic medium coated on a substrate. CONSTITUTION:This memory medium has the substrate and the magnetic alloy medium which consists of FexCyNz (x-z are atomic ratios) and is coated on the substrate. This substrate consists of an aluminum alloy, anodized alumite, aluminum alloy coated with a nickel-phosphorus plating film, etc., or plastics such as polyester, polyimide, and polyamideimide, or ceramics such as silicon, silicon nitride, sintered bodies of aluminum oxide and titanium carbide, or stainless steel, titanium alloy or glass plate, etc. The thin film medium of the magnetic alloy contg.
