Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an agricultural film showing mist resistance and long-period fog resistance, by adding a specific compound containing both a perfluoroalkyl group and a polyhydric alcohol fatty acid ester group in the molecule to vinyl chloride polymer. CONSTITUTION:An agricultural film obtained by blending vinyl chloride polymer with 0.5-5wt.% reaction product prepared by (A) reacting 1mol. fluoroalkyl group-containing compound shown by formula I (Rf is 4-10C perfluoroalkyl; A is group shown by formula II or formula III; R is ethylene and/or propylene; m is 0-25) or formula IV (B is CO or SO3; R' is H or 1-5C alkyl; n is 1-25) with 1mol. alpha, omega diglycidyl ether of a polyalkylene glycol shown by formula V (l is 1-25) and then (B) reacting the reaction product with a polyhydric alcohol fatty acid ester obtained from 1-22C higher fatty acid, glycerin, diglycerin, sorbitol and pentaerythritol.
