Abstract
PURPOSE:To induce an upswelling flow by a tidal or ocean current of at least two directions, by positioning a pair of oppositely placed compressed plates above the sea-bottom interposing a gap from the sea-bottom and placing a resisting body on the sea-bottom in the middle of the compressed plates in nearly vertical state. CONSTITUTION:Tidal or ocean current flowing against a compressed plate 1 in the direction X is contracted in the gap under the plate to increase the speed and reaches the resisting body 2 placed on the sea-bottom 5. The tidal or ocean current deflected upward by the resisting body 2 generates a vortex A near the space above the resisting body 2. An upswelling flow is similarly generated by the tidal or ocean current of the direction X'.
