Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the surface smoothness of the titled body by controlling the weight average fire length of a pulp fiber and the water retention degree of the pulp fiber contd. in a pulp slurry to a specified range at the same time. CONSTITUTION:A base paper is obtd. from a raw material contg. the pulp fiber in which the weight average fibre length measured by a fibre length analyzer of polarizing transmission type is a range of 0.4mm-0.9mm, and the water retention degree is a range of 120%-190%, and said base paper is used for the titled body. When the weight average fibre length of the pulp fiber is <0.4mm, the strength of the base paper is remarkably reduced, thereby easily tearing. When the weight average fibre length of the pulp fiber is >0.9mm, the base paper which has a good formation and the improved smoothness, is not formed. And, when the water retention degree is <120%, the strength of a paper layer is weakened, thereby tearing a paper, and generating a wrinkle. When said degree is >190%, the base paper shrinks in a dry zone, and a wrinkly rugged surface generates in said base paper whereby the base paper having the excellent smoothness is not obtd. Thus, the surface smoothness of the titled body is improved.
