Abstract

PURPOSE:To disperse an external force, exerted on the upper surface of a foot warmer body, at a contact part between surfaces throughout a wide range and to prevent damage, deformation, and breakage of a crosspiece, by a method wherein the inner surface of the folding leg of a foldable leg body forms a flat surface, and the flat surface and the under surface of the beam are brought into surface contact with each other. CONSTITUTION:The folding leg of a leg body 6 is formed in a D-shape in cross section in which an inner surface part forms a flat surface B1 and an outer surface part forms a curved surface. Namely, when the folding leg of the leg body 6 is folded to use a foot warmer as a low table the flat surface B1 makes direct contact with the under surface part of the crosspiece 4, and a press force exerted on a foot warmer body 1 from above can be high-efficiently dispersed on the leg body 6 through the flat surface B1 to prevent damage, deformation, and breakage of the crosspiece at a contact part. Since the lowermost end part of a hot air generating unit 5 is prevented from protruding from the lower end part of the crosspiece 4, when the folding leg is folded, the flat surface of the folding leg is brought into direct contact with the crosspiece 4 to prevent the hot air generating unit 5 from being deformed.
