Abstract

PURPOSE:To utilize a buffer material for packing as the mount stand of an outdoor unit with reliability, by providing the depressed that engaging with the bottom part of the outdoor unit to the buffer material for packing and further applying weatherability treatment to said buffer material. CONSTITUTION:The shapes of the first depressed parts 4a, 4b almost coincide with those of the respective left and right end parts 1b, 1a of an indoor unit 1. At the time of packing, buffer materials 2a, 2b for packing are engaged with both left and right end parts 1a, 1b of the indoor unit so that the depressed parts 4a, 4b are turned to the inside. The second depressed parts 7a, 7b are also respectively provided to the other surface sides 5a, 5b of both buffer materials 2a, 2b so as to leave engaging parts 6a, 6b. The surface sides 5a, 5b provided with the second depressed parts 7a, 7b and side surfaces 10... of the buffer materials 2a, 2b are covered with a coating material 11 as weatherability treatment. Then, the buffer materials packing the indoor unit is utilized as the mount stand of an outdoor unit 8. Without being limited to this, the buffer material packing the outdoor unit 8 may be adapted.
