Abstract
PURPOSE:To maintain noise reduction and thermal insulation effects, thus preventing scattering down, by blowing powdery matters to an undercoating length applied to a surface to be treated, and then blowing thereon a mixture of powder and resin having a particle diameter less than that of said powdery matters. CONSTITUTION:An underpainting layer is applied to a surface to be treated and an intermediate layer is formed thereon by blowing powdery matters against said undercoating layer, following which a finishing layer is superposed thereon by blowing a mixture of powder and resin having a diameter less than that of the powdery matters of the intermediate layer. The thickness of the underpainting of 1.0-2.0mm, which is larger than a conventional thickness, is preferable since adhesion of the intermediate layer can be strengthened. As powdery matters, a pumice or pearlite, which is light and has small specific gravity, is desirable and the diameter of the powdery matters for use in the intermediate layer is preferably in the range of 0.8-1.6mm, while the diameter of the powder for the finishing layer is preferably 0.8mm or less, in particular 0.5-0.8mm.
