Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate the generation of foams and vibration even if liquid to be mixed is small in volume by providing a pivoting means to pivot a rod on a swivel bearing on one end of the rod to be supported thereby and engage the other end of the rod with a simple component. CONSTITUTION:A rod 10 is supported by swivel bearings 12 and 16 on adequate positions in the middle section. Also, a pivoting means consisting of a motor 18, an eccentric weight 22 and the like relates to one end 10b of the rod 10 and pivot the same on said swivel bearings. Further, simple components 24 and 26 are engaged with the other end 10a of the rod 10. As a result, the liquid in respective wells of a micro-plate 26, for instance, is pivoted under the same conditions, agitated and mixed. Because of said structure, the generation of foams and vibration can be neglected.
