Abstract

PURPOSE:To strongly bond and fix a resin holding member to a metal cap by a method wherein a tongue piece for starting the tearing-off of a cam main body is pinched between the mounting base part and the opposing piece of the holding member, all of which are integrally molded out of thermoplastic resin so as to heat-bond the base part and the opposing piece to the tongue piece, and to heat-fuse the base part and the opposing piece with each other in the periphery of the tongue piece. CONSTITUTION:A cap main body 1 consists of a top plate part 2 and a skirt part 3 and is equipped with a pair of scores 5 and 5, which extend from the skirt part 3 across the top plate part 2, a tearing-off part 4, which is partitioned by the scores, and a tongue piece 6 for starting the tearing-off, which projects outward from the skirt part integral with the tearing-off part 4. By being fixed with a piling-up structure by pressure and heat, a base part 12 and an opposing piece 13 are heat-bonded to the tongue piece 6 or further the base part 12 and the opposing piece 13 are heat-fused with each other in the periphery of the tongue piece 6. The cap main body 1 consists of a metal base 31 and protective coating layers 32a and 32b. As the metal base 31, lightweight metal such as sheet-shaped surface un-treated steel or the like is used. As the protective coating layers 32a and 32b, thermosetting resin coating is used.
