[Detailed Description of the Invention] The conventional method for winding an electrode plate group is to wrap the tip of the electrode plate group around a rotating shaft, hold the other end by hand, rotate the rotating shaft, and pressurize the outside of the electrode plate group. In this method, winding is performed by inserting and moving between rollers, but since the electrode plates move, the overlap between the cathode and anode plates and the intervening separator tends to shift, and in particular, because they are released before winding is completed, the winding is difficult. Misalignment of the plates near the end is likely to occur, often resulting in poorly wound plates with shorted plates.

The present invention addresses these drawbacks and provides an electrode group that can be wound without moving the electrode plate group, and that can reduce the deviation as much as possible to produce a high-quality wound electrode group. This method provides a winding method in which a group of electrode plates is placed on the top surface of a long belt with one end fixed along the length of the belt, and at right angles to the belt between the tip and the inside of the folded part of the belt. The present invention is characterized in that by interposing a rotating roller extending over the belt and pulling and moving the other end of the folded belt, the rotating roller is rotationally moved to the upper surface of the electrode plate group and wound thereon.

An example of implementing the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings.
The drawing shows a device for winding a group of electrode plates for implementing the present method, and 1 indicates a strong belt made of leather, woven fabric, etc., having at least the same width as the width of the group of electrode plates a to be wound. One end 1a of the belt 1 is connected to an appropriate base 2.
The middle part 1b is folded back to form a folded part, and the other end 1 on the folded side is
c is connected to the sliding rod 4 of the air cylinder 3 at the center of its width by any means, and this air cylinder 3
The belt 1 can be pulled freely by the operation. Reference numeral 5 indicates a rotating roller located inside the folded portion 1b of the belt 1 and extending perpendicularly to the width direction of the belt 1, and the rotating roller 5 has its central axis protruding outward from both side edges of the belt. Attachment ends 5a, 5
A was connected to a sliding rod 7 of an air cylinder 6 provided on the longitudinal center line of the belt 1 in front thereof via two holding arms 8, 8. Reference numeral 9 indicates a pair of pressure rollers disposed on the outer peripheral surface of the folded portion 1b of the belt 1 and extending in the width direction thereof, and the pair of rollers 9, 9 are attached to the attachment end portion 5a of the rotary roller 5. , 5a via springs 10, 10, so as to always press one surface of the belt. Reference numeral 11 indicates a spring that connects the rollers 9, 9. Thus, the belt 1 is formed into a V-shape having an upper belt portion and a lower belt portion via the intermediate portion 1b. Folded belt 1
A plate group presser rod 12 that extends in the width direction of the belt 1 and is orthogonal to the lower belt section, which is the mounting surface for the plate group a, is provided so as to be movable up and down. It is also possible to fix the placed state by pressing the top surface of the part. Next, an example of the winding method of the present method using the above device will be described.

On the upper surface of the lower belt part of the belt 1, close to the rear surface of the rotary roller 5, a group of electrode plates a is placed along the length direction of the belt 1, that is, in parallel thereto, and if necessary, on the rear end thereof. Move the presser rod 12 down and fix it. From this state, when the free end 1c side of the belt 1 is pulled toward the cylinder 3 by operating the belt traction cylinder 3 and retracting its rod 4, the rotating roller 5 moves the belt 1 toward the free end 1c. By the folding movement of the intermediate portion 1b in the pulling direction, it is pushed and rotated while riding on the electrode plate group a, and the electrode plate group a is also bent and accordingly wound around the rotating roller 5 and wound. In this way, the electrode plate group A is wound around the rotating roller 5 while remaining stationary at its mounting position, thereby obtaining a wound electrode plate group A as shown in the third figure. A cylinder 6 connected to the rotating roller 5 extends with its sliding rod 7 to follow the rotational movement of the rotating roller, and has bifurcated arms 8 at its tip.
8 serves to correctly hold the roller 5 in a perpendicular relationship to the belt 1, and also helps to quickly return the rotary roller 5 to its original position after winding of the electrode plate group is completed. In order to facilitate winding of the electrode plate group a around the rotating roller 5, as shown in FIG. It is preferable to place it as a state.
After winding, for example, a tape is placed on the belt 1 and wrapped in the same manner over the wound electrode plate group A to fix it to prevent the wound electrode group A from loosening, and then the mounting end 5a , 5a, holding arms 8, 8, spring 1
0 and 10 and rotate the wound electrode plate group A to the rotating roller 5.
It is then removed and stored in a can to obtain a cylindrical storage battery. There is no misalignment at all during this removal.

In this way, according to the present invention, a group of electrode plates is placed on the upper surface of the belt, a rotating roller is interposed between the group of electrode plates and the belt, and the belt is bent at the middle portion and one end of the belt is pulled. Since the rotary roller is rotated and moved along the top surface of the electrode plate group, the electrode plate group can be wound in a stationary state without moving, so there is no tension on the electrode plate group. Since almost no force is applied, there is no misalignment of the electrode plate group compared to the conventional case of moving the electrode plate group and winding, so it is possible to significantly reduce deviations in the stacking state of the electrode plate group during winding. Therefore, the occurrence of short circuits in the electrode plate group can be significantly reduced, and the productivity of appropriately wound electrode plate groups can be increased.
