部にてこれに連通し半径方向内方に開口せる環状
室が形成せられた環状部材が非回転体側に設けら
れ、 上記環状部材には、内径が該環状部材の内径よ
りも小さく設定されて回転体との間に狭間隙を形
成する多孔質リングが、上記環状部材の環状室の
上記開口を閉鎖しかつ半径方向に可動に設けられ
ている、 ことを特徴とする気体シール装置。 (2) 多孔質リングは、ベローズ等半径方向に弾
性を有する部材によつて環状部材に取付けられて
