Abstract

PURPOSE:To effectively utilize a rapidly heating means by rapidly heating an object to be heated by the rapid heating means until the temperature of the object reaches up to a high range in a high set temperature when the temperature of the object to be heated is in a low range of the high set temperature. CONSTITUTION:A temperature control device is constituted of a heater 1 arranged in a unit of an electric 'KOTATUE' (a foot warmer with a quilt over it) boy, a control element 2, a microcomputer 3, a temperature detecting element and a temperature detecting circuit 4, an operation key 6 having temperature setting switches 7a, 7b and a rapidly heating switch 8, a display circuit 9, and so on. The temperature of the 'KOTATUE' body is controlled within a range between a high temperature and a mode switching temperature. When the switch 8 is depressed at the time of temperature drop due to external temperature, the temperature detecting data of the 'KOTATUE' body are set up to an initial state '0', and when a mode switching flag is set up thereafter, a mode switching temperature is changed and a heater 1 is heated with full power until the temperature reaches up to the high range temperature to rapidly heat the object.
