Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent protrusion of a both-sided adhesive tape from a fixation part of a wind shield and to diminish a width of the part, by trimming off an outer circle of the both-sided adhesive tape and by half-blanking an inner circle of the tape. CONSTITUTION:A both-sided adhesive tape 100 is set on a fixation part 210 of a wind shield of a watch case 200 with its condition of an inner circle 140 half blanked and a protecting paper 130 to be left on an upper surface of the tape 100. Using a cutting edge 510 having a shape corresponding to a shape of the trimmed off inner circle 120, a chisel 500 is pushed into the tape 100 from above the protection paper 130 and thereby the inner circle 140 is removed leaving the outer circle 150 at the fixation part 210. Thereafter, the protection paper 120 is taken off and the wind shield for a watch is downwardly stuck and fixed from above the tape 100. The outer circle 150 does not protrude into an inner side of the case and can diminish a width of the fixation part 150, because a force of the chisel 500 does not work on the fixation part 150 during this process.
