Abstract
PURPOSE:To make the next process operations smooth by connecting the tail of a hollow wire to a pressure air supply source, pressing a floating core in this hollow, and preventing the cut end of the hollow wire from larger deformation at the time of shearing. CONSTITUTION:A shearing die 4 and a supply hole 3 are provided at a shearing frame 1, and a long hollow wire a is inserted in the supply hole 3. A floating core 32 is set in this hollow wire slidably with air-tightness caused by an O-ring 33, and put in contact with a stationary core 30 of a swing plate at shearing, and with a slide plate affixed to the swing plate at swinging. From a pressure air source pressure air is supplied into the hollow wire a, and the floating core 32 is pressed to the stationary core 30 at the time of shearing. Accordingly retraction of the floating core caused by deformation of the cut end is prevented by the pressure force even though shearing force is applied to the hollow wire a. Thus deformation of the cut end is suppressed minimum to eliminate risk of generation of otherwise possible troubles at the next stage due to hooking etc.
