Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to measure the total weight of a person and the weight in water with one apparatus, by connecting a ladder, by which the person enters into the water, to the main body of a load cell type weight gage, and using said ladder as a member, which transmits the weight in the water, to the main body of the weight gage. CONSTITUTION:A ladder 5 is connected and fixed to a main body 1 of a weight gage, in which a load cell is incorporated. The ladder 5 is also used as a ladder, by which a person enters into a pool 51. The outer of the main body 1 is made to be zero when the load of the ladder 5 is applied. At first, a person to be measured rides on the main body 1, and the weight W1 in air is measured. The weight W1 is outputted to an operating device 7. Then, the person to be measured enters into water through the ladder 5. The weight W2 in the water is measured with the main body 1 through the ladder 5. The weight W2 is outputted to the operating device 7. The weight in the water is measured several times, and the adequate value is computed 7. The operating device 7 computes the volume of the person to be measured as water temperature T in the pool 51 as a correcting valve. The age (d), the sex (a), the height (b) and the like of the person to be measured are further inputted. The fatness of the person to be measured is computed based on a specified computing expression.
