Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable a cleaning roller to be mounted and removed through simple operation by supporting with a shaft one end of a rotating bar shaft which is freely mounted and removed with the other end set in the hollow part of the cleaning roller, and providing a handle member which is freely mounted and removed on a single bracket. CONSTITUTION:The soiled parts of a rubber cylinder 2 and an impression cylinder 1 on a printer are cleaned by causing cleaning rollers 3, 4, 5 to come into contact with each cylinder and to rotate automatically after the completion of printing. Then, for instance, brackets 6A, 6B are fixed on the right and left of a shaft 11 with an adequate space for accommodating the cleaning roller 3 for the impression cylinder 1. On one bracket 6B, a roller rotation support shaft 50 is installed in a freely rotating cantilever style. A rotating bar shaft 76A of a cylindrical main body 3A of the cleaning roller 3 is axially supported by a cylindrical handle 77. The cleaning roller 3 is mounted by holding the handle 77 and inserting the hollow shaft part of the roller into a shaft 72A. When replacing the cleaning roller 3, it may be pulled out by holding the handle 77. The same procedure applies to the rollers 4, 5 for replacement.
