Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform high speed imaging while correcting the effect of the non-uniformity of a static magnetic field, by providing a correction means for correcting the effect of the non-uniformity of the static magnetic field in a process wherein the data of a slice surface is collected. CONSTITUTION:In order to selectively excite the magnetization in the noticeable slice surface in a sample 5, a selective exciting 90 deg. high frequency pulse is applied as a high frequency magnetic field RF and, at the same time, a slice gradient magnetic field is applied in a z-direction. The slice gradient magnetic field is reversed in order to align the phase of magnetization after the application of the selective exciting 90 deg. high frequency pulse. The magnetic resonance signal received by a probe 7 is amplified and detected by a receiving part 9 to be sent to a data collecting part 11 under the control of a system controller 10. An electronic computer 12 performs image reconstitution processing with respect to the magnetic resonance signal by Fourier transform.
