Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce packet collision from a mobile equipment to a control station by allowing a control station to detect the number of occurrence of packet collision from a mobile equipment, annunciating it to the mobile equipment and allowing the mobile equipment to send a signal while varying the packet transmission probability. CONSTITUTION:A control station sends a transmission enable packet 7 to all mobile equipments and awaits a transmission packet 8 for a prescribed time. In receiving the packet 7, each mobile equipment calculates a transmission probability Ps=P/2 (P is initial value of transmission probability), generates a random number R by each mobile equipment and enables transmission in case of R<Ps, said packet monitor time is split into plural slots by the packet sending time of the mobile equipment, one of them is selected and the packet 8 is sent. The control station counts the sum between the collision occurrence slots in the packet monitor time and the slot number received normally, adjusts the value NC(initial value and minimum value are 0) representing the degree of congestion of packets 8 and sends the signal while superimposing the NC on the packet 7 to the mobile equipment.
